There is two days left of February and then we are officially in Spring mode. I definitely have “spring fever” and can not wait for the weather to get warmer and watch all the tree’s come back to life. But before I can do that, there needs to be my “Month In Review” for February. I’ve been doing this since I started my blog, see them all here. I’m so excited to write this post and to talk about this past month, I hope you enjoy!
February was such a good month. I focused on everything I wanted to focus on and made progress in all of my goals. There is so much to talk about, so I’m going to break it down into sections.
Blogging
My blog was a huge focus for me, and I am happy to say that I had my best views ever this month! It inspires and motivates me so much to keep going and keep working hard. It’s almost addicting once you see your stats going up and up, because you just want to keep working harder and harder. I got on a strict schedule this month when it came to posting. I’m impatient, and its hard to not hit “publish” the second I finish writing. That being said, I know that consistency is key so I’ve been waiting to post every Monday and Thursday. I don’t know if those are good days to post, but its just what happened and I’m going to stick to it for a while.
I’ve also continued working on my Pinterest strategies more. It’s definitely paying off because I finally reached 100K monthly viewers this month and I’m currently at 183K! I’ve also been creating new pins daily and have been seeing a traffic increase because of it. It feels so good to see hard work start to pay off!
School
February was my first full month of school, so it was a lot of adjusting to. School is school for me, so there’s not a lot to it. I have spring break next month which is exciting. My classes are easy this semester but has a lot more work. I’ve been working on getting assignments done early and trying to stay ahead. Nothing like working on your procrastination your last semester of college, right?
Everything in between
I’m forever grateful for February 2020. It’s overall been such a great month. My anxiety has gone down tremendously, which is something that has been very present since the middle of the Summer. I’ve been focusing so much on my self-care and overall wellness, which you can probably tell from some of my posts this month.
A lot of this month was spent going new places and doing new things. I went to the beach a lot for sunrise and sunset. I found new nature walks and took my puppy everywhere (she loves it!). I’m so excited for it to get warmer outside so I can do even more!
March plans
Like last month, I don’t have too many plans for March. My sister is engaged, and this month she is having an engagement party, which is exciting! March is usually the most busy month for me with school, so a lot of focus is going to be on that. I have to start writing my senior thesis and get done a lot of other projects. Senioritis is starting to hit, and I know after this month I’m not going to want to do a lot of school work.
With the weather getting nicer, I want to spend a lot of time outside. I live in New York, so there is a lot to do in the city, and even some things in the town I live in. I have Spring break later in the month, so when I’m not doing school work, I want to try and do a few fun things during that time.
As for my blog, I want to top my most ever views again this month. I don’t have a certain number, I just know that I want to keep seeing an increase in my stats. I really hope to see more progress with my Pinterest, too.
Thats really it! I hope this month was good for all of you, and that March is even better! Does anyone have anything exciting happening next month? I would love to know!
Sounds like you’ve had a busy month! I’m really glad your blog has been benefitting from the extra work and I only hope it grows throughout March too!
