I’m no interior designer, but I do know what I like my room to look like for fall. I’ve never been huge into a bunch of pumpkins everywhere, but would rather have my room scream “sweater weather” with a bunch of textures and cozy colors. There has to be someone who feels the same, so I’m sharing my mood board for this season. I’m adding some new things, old favorites, and one or two super simple pumpkins (because it is a must have). Here are some super simple ways to decorate your room for fall. Neutral boho inspired, of course.
Fall’s my favorite season, so of course I need a few pumpkins. I don’t like overdoing it, so I only add a few. I found these really simple, not in your face, ones from Target.
This is one of the biggest ways I switch out my room for fall. I will replace all of my summer-y flowers with some greens (usually eucalyptus), wheat, or any neutral colored fall leaves I could find. Top it with some natural looking vases, like this one, and you have yourself a fall themed arrangement.
Texture In Throws & Pillows
I think using different textures can add a fall like presence to a space. These pillows are my favorite combined with this duvet cover from Urban. I’m also linking my most favorite throw blanket that I’ve mentioned a few times already. It’s incredibly soft and perfect for this time of year. Linking some of my favorite cream colored vases that will go very well with the overall look of everything that I’ve linked so far.
Little accents around your room can also make the space feel more cozy for the cooler weather. This tapestry is a new arrival from Urban Outfitters that I will be ordering asap. Never-mind the fall, but this will be perfect for all year long. This basket is also perfect for leveling up the “cozy” vibe if you throw a few throw blankets in it. A vanilla scented candle is my favorite for this time of year. Add in some pumpkins linked above, and your flowers, and you’re good to go.
