It’s February- AKA when most peoples inspiration that they had last month, starts to flood away. Staying productive and most importantly, staying inspired can be hard. Here’s everything I’m doing to stay on top of things this year.
Daily “To Do” List
I do try my best to consistently use a planner, but for the past few weeks I’ve been writing daily “to-do” lists, and I’ve liked that so much better. I will write down everything I need to do blogging-wise first thing in the morning and then cross things off throughout the day.
Pinterest Board
My biggest tip when it comes to staying inspired. I have a private board on my Pinterest with everything that inspires me. Whether its blog posts, quotes, etc., it’s a great thing to go back to when I’m finding myself stuck and in the need of some inspiration. Seriously, Pinterest has become my best friend (heres my Pinterest!)
Short Term Goals
I’m all for creating yearly goals, but they’re a lot more attainable when you’re creating smaller-short term goals. Chances are you’ll stay motivated, longer. I have specific yearly goals when it comes to blogging, but to stay focused I like to set monthly goals as well. I also have been writing down all my weekly goals every Sunday night, as another way of breaking down everything that I want to accomplish.
Lots of Reflection
Reflection is key for staying on top of things. My favorite way to do this is journaling. It doesn’t need to be a whole “feelings” thing if you’re not into that. Simply writing down a few things everyday, every week, or every month, could give you a chance on what you’re achieving, and what you need to work on.
